Excited Monday Made It!

Ok, I had a BIG day.
I called my school on the off chance that they would know when I could get into my room.
Guess what?!
They said I could go ahead and start working!
WOO HOO!

I was super excited.
I still am super excited.
I spent 3 hours there and only got through one shelf.
But y'all, let me tell you.
That shelf was FULL of stuff!

This is what it looked like when I started. I have multiple stacks of stuff around the room to sort through and store once I get the room arranged. I'm sure the custodians think I'm crazy considering how cluttered the room looks right now after just going through one shelf!

I'm putting a lot of it in my cabinet to store, "just in case".
But a lot of it is from 2002-2010, and I just can't picture myself using any of it.
Ohhh well.

So, even though it was only 3 hours, I'm beat.
Totally exhausted.
But I am having a glass (or two!) of wine to celebrate finally getting started!
It really feels real now, you know?

Tomorrow, I plan to go around 7:30-8:00am to get to work.
I need to sort all of the books into stacks, that's my goal for tomorrow.
If the amount of books in the library overwhelms me, I'm certain it will overwhelm the kids.
Once I have them sorted, I'll decide on which ones to keep out and which ones to store for book rotation.

My amazing hubby is taking two days off this week to help me in my room.
There are just some items, like my huge-solid wood-desk that I cannot move alone.
Isn't he the sweetest?

Anyways, Monday Made-It time!
I honestly don't have a lot to show this Monday.
I spent a lot of time cleaning our apartment.

However, I present to you...
My binders!

The sides of each binder.
I'm still iffy on the scrapbook paper. I think it works with the covers I made, but I'm just not 100% confident.

The inside and dividers of my teacher binder.

Ta-da!
Each binder is chalked full of form-y goodness, ready to be copied for documentation and planning!

I made a form for parent-teacher conference notes that I would like to share with you all!

  8. Do you have some templates of what you have in each binder or is there a place where you got this idea? I'm thinking about doing a Master Binder for Math Reproducibles, Language Arts, etc. in my classroom. I can't stand being unorganized.
